SHIPEA choose Maarch Entreprise and Aerow as its Electronic Document and Record Management System (EDRMS)
AEROW, ECM experts, supports SHIPEA in bringing their global archive project
Paris, 2010/08/26 - SHIPEA undergoes a fast increasing of its activity as logistics and transport expert. The amount of paper and electronic documents grows fast too.
Aerow analysed Shipea's needs and conducted a study that concluded to Maarch Entreprise as the best choice. For Jérôme PECHOT, Aerow associate :
Shipea already had advanced needs and low budget. We knew Maarch Entreprise abilities and its model immediately appealed to Shipea.
A fast implementation and a lightning return on investment
Within a month, the solution has been deployed by Aerow, ECM Expert, and Shipea users now share the same document repository. "This project is a first in France in the logistics and transport industry, but it will be emulated. The fact is that 70% of carriers are small family businesses that run few trucks. How can they invest in costly EDRMSes? Maarch Entreprise, on premise or SaaS, is truly an economically and functionally viable solution", Laurent IABEUF, Shipea founder, testified.

They then directed us and we approved the proposed platform. This approach is much more in touch with our reality than writing specifications."
Selecting the appropriate acquisition chain
SHIPEA wanted to go all digital and to not lose time while digitizing and human review processes. Fujitsu was the obvious choice as the suitable scanner vendor. "Our volume increase fast and our ScanSnaps will soon be replaced with fi6140, but we have invested at our pace, while learning to use those simple but fast and sound equipment."
