The Départemental Service Fire and Help (SDIS) of Var chose Maarch, following a call for proposals. They looked at a modern and powerful solution of mail management to replace their old DM EVER.

The SDIS83 was seduced by

• the performances of the application,
• its ability to extend the scope of use of the DM, in terms of number of users and features,
• the simplicity and the speed of the indexing process,
• the overall cost with installation services and maintenance,
• la gestion fine des droits d’accès aux informations,
• the management of the rights of access to information,
• the LDAP connection.

And the other SDIS?

This is a very nice facility, highlighting the benefits of a DM for organizations such as the SDIS. The product is Open Source, bet that it will other SDIS that can take advantage of the experience gained in this implementation to the Var.

Volume treated per day

• 100 + 100 e-mail starting + 100 bills arrived mail
• or 300 simple mail or MultiPage in A4 size with daily
• 25 services composed of 56 users
