Maarch opens its second subsidiary in Africa
NANTERRE - Maarch reinforces its presence in Africa with the opening of its subsidiary in the Republic of the Congo (Brazzaville) to provide expertise and integration services to its customer.
According to its strong ethics based on sharing, Maarch Congo is mainly owned by local shareholders, and a massive knowledge transfer towards local team is undergoing in order for it to reach the expertise level asked by local projects.
Congo-Brazzaville benefits from a strong growth that originate from two sources : oil and its vast rain forest (the second in surface after Amazonia).
After years of paper archive accumulation, the country's industrials and administrative show a great interest for document digitisation and electronic conservation. Beside the well-known advantages of electronic archiving, Congo is facing difficulties to store paper archives because of the hot and humid climate.
There are plenty of projects and open sources is the ideal economic solution to deploy massively those technologies with reasonable budgets.
These are the reasons why Maarch has striking success in Africa, in addition to the technologies Maarch solutions relies on: being written in PHP, the application is more accessible for engineers and far more performing on the same hardware than Java competitors.
